Balancing Act

Life in general, along with raising children, is a balancing act. After our cute little addition was born, I have had a very difficult time getting things to balance out. As a Mom of 3(4yr, 2yr, & 8months), a pilot's wife, and a Relief Society President, I rarely have much time to sit down. Which is why you haven't seen anything from me recently. But these past few months, with my crazy schedule, I've discovered that I need an outlet!! Otherwise, I'm going to burn out!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love being a mom and a wife, and I enjoy having the opportunity to serve as a Relief Society President. It's just that when you constantly think of others, it's easy to forget to take care of yourself. And if you aren't taking care of yourself, it can be hard to take care of others . So, I've given myself a challenge to take care of myself better, by allowing myself to do things that I love to do, at least once a week. And I can post them here as an accountability not only to myself, but also to you! And if you want to join me in this little challenge, I would love to hear from you and see what you do to give yourself that little boost in the week! I hope to share with you next week about my latest creation, until then, stay creative!
