Waldorf Salad

Quick and easy tasty treat! Serve as a salad, appetizer, or even a light desert. 

2 Apples
2 Tbsp. Water
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 C. Walnuts
1/2-3/4 C. Chopped Dates
1 (8 oz) Tub Whipped Cream Cheese

Chop apples into small pieces. Place apples in a medium bowl. Mix water and lemon juice; pour over the apples and toss to keep from browning. If walnuts are whole or halved, place in a plastic bag and smash with a cup or mallet. Add walnuts dates and whipped cream cheese to apples and stir until cream cheese is evenly distributed. Chill until served. 

If serving as an appetizer serve with crackers (ritz are great). 
If serving as a light desert, serve with vanilla wafers.
